Sawyer One – Gallon Gravity Water Filtration System

The Sawyer One – Gallon Gravity Water Filtration System is a lightweight, robust solution for filtering large quantities of water in as little as 7 minutes. Comprising of two parts, the 1-gallon bladder and the dual-threaded MINI filter, it is ideal for backpacking, backcountry camping, and emergency preparedness.

Weighing just 4.5 ounces, the 1-gallon bladder features a wide mouth cap that allows for fast filling and a convenient carry handle. With threads on both sides, you can screw the push/pull cap onto the MINI for easy on/off functionality while filtering to control water flow.

Our lightest and most versatile personal water filtration system, the Sawyer MINI weighs just 2 ounces, fits in the palm of your hand, and is rated to 0.1 micron absolute filtration, removing 99.99999% of all bacteria, such as salmonella, cholera and E.coli, removing 99.9999% of all protozoa (such as giardia and cryptosporidium), and removing 100% of microplastics.

The Sawyer water filters contain a high number of tiny ‘U’ shaped hollow fiber micro-tubes that trap contaminants while allowing decontaminated water to freely pass through at a high flow rate, eliminating the need to store water and reducing the possibility of water contamination after the filtration process.

Unscrew the wide mouth opening and fill the bag with water from any source and connect the included tube between the bladder and the Mini. After filling, hang the reservoir with the MINI below it from a tree, the back of your pack, or simply hold it up with your hand. Water will flow through the MINI to produce fresh, clean water for drinking and cooking.

Rated to filter up to 100,000 gallons, the MINI’s filtering membranes are sturdy enough to withstand backwashing using the included syringe, restoring up to 98.5% of the filter’s flow rate.

Also included is the Cleaning Coupling accessory, enabling you to backwash the MINI using a standard plastic drinks bottle (with 28mm threading).

The MINI can be cleaned and reused almost indefinitely with no expensive cartridges to replace… ever. Sawyer recommends backwashing and sanitizing the filter after every outing for optimized use.
