While we meticulously inspect every Gransfors Bruks axe, bushcraft knife, and piece of expedition equipment before shipment, we understand that sometimes returns are necessary. Our streamlined processes ensure your outdoor adventures are never delayed by paperwork.

Shipping Information

Order Processing

All orders are processed within 1-2 business days (excluding weekends and holidays). You’ll receive a confirmation email with tracking information once your gear ships.

Shipping Methods & Timelines

We offer two reliable shipping options to get your outdoor equipment where it needs to go:

  • Standard Shipping ($12.95) via DHL or FedEx: 10-15 business days after dispatch
  • Free Shipping via EMS (for orders over $50): 15-25 business days after dispatch

Note: Delivery times are estimates and may vary based on customs processing in your region. We currently ship worldwide except to certain Asian countries and remote areas.

International Shipping

For orders outside our primary service regions:

  • Customers are responsible for any customs duties or import taxes
  • All international shipments include tracking
  • Please ensure your shipping address is complete and accurate

Returns & Exchanges

Eligibility

To qualify for a return or exchange:

  • Items must be unused and in original packaging
  • Returns must be initiated within 15 days of delivery
  • Proof of purchase is required

Non-Returnable Items

For safety and compliance reasons, we cannot accept returns on:

  • Bushcraft Books and Field Guides (due to potential content copying)
  • First Aid items (for hygiene reasons)
  • Insect Repellent (safety regulations)
  • Any item that has been used or removed from original packaging

Return Process

Step 1: Initiate Your Request
Contact our Wilderness Support Team within 15 days at [email protected] with:

  • Your order number
  • Item(s) for return/exchange
  • Reason for return
  • Preference for refund or exchange

Step 2: Receive Authorization
Our team will respond within 24 hours (weekdays) with:

  • Return authorization number
  • Shipping instructions
  • Special handling notes for outdoor equipment

Step 3: Package and Ship
Securely package items using original packaging when possible. For axes, knives, or sharp tools, ensure all safety sheaths are properly secured. Include:

  • Completed return form (emailed to you)
  • Original packing slip or invoice

Step 4: Processing
Our gear specialists will inspect returns within 3 business days of receipt. You’ll receive email notification about your refund or exchange status.

Refund Information

Refunds are processed within 5 business days after we receive and inspect your return:

  • Credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, JCB): 3-10 business days to appear on your statement
  • PayPal: Typically processed within 24 hours

Note: Original shipping fees are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.

Exchanges

  • Equal value exchanges ship immediately after return processing
  • Higher value exchanges require payment of the difference
  • Expedited shipping options available

Damaged or Defective Items

If you receive damaged or defective gear (rare for our field-tested equipment):

  1. Contact us immediately at [email protected]
  2. Include photos of the damage
  3. We’ll arrange replacement or refund and cover return shipping

International Returns

For customers outside our primary service regions:

  • You’re responsible for return shipping costs
  • Customs documents must mark packages as “Returned Goods”
  • Refunds processed in USD
